Lisbon

WITH JOAO GAMEIRO

Portrait of the interior designer, standing against a neutral beige backdrop with a modern metallic chair.

Lisbon is an inspiring city for interior designers, where history and modernity intertwine seamlessly. The city's unique light, often referred to as "the white city" due to its clear illumination, adds a distinct charm to its vibrant neighborhoods. From the historic Alfama district with its narrow streets and traditional Fado music to the bustling markets and contemporary art scenes, there's always something new to explore. The picturesque coastline, adorned with golden beaches and captivating sunsets, provides constant inspiration. Here are some of my favorite local spots to take visitors when they come to experience Lisbon.
